What's Inside?: See-through Pages and Magic Surprises!
Author(s): Okido
This book gives children the power of X-ray vision to see what's inside things. When the pages are held up to the light, they can see through to the page behind - from the skeleton inside a person to the engine inside a car to a bear inside a cave. Sixteen pictures grouped in themed sections - the body, nature, machines, and buildings - show the hidden workings. There are background facts and simple questions to answer as well as a fill-in section where children draw on the reverse of pictures to put things inside things, including a present inside a box or food inside a refrigerator. Children will be drawn by the fresh, approachable style and the magic of seeing one thing transform into another.
